Tarrus Riley Records a New Song Praising Uganda

Uganda gifted by nature earns its title as Pearl of Africa because of the natural beauty it is blessed with right from the hospitable citizens to natural resources like Lake Victoria shared by the 3 East African countries, River Nile famous for being the longest river in the world with its source in Jinja, Uganda, Murchison Falls known to be one the world’s mightiest falls situated in the heart of Uganda’s oldest and largest National Park named after the falls, and Mountain Rwenzori which is believed to be the 3rd highest mountain in Africa among many other natural attractions keeping Uganda on top when it comes to natural beauty.
Tarrus Riley famous for his song “just the way you are” upon his first visit to Uganda on Wednesday 29th August, 2018 ahead of his scheduled music concert which was slated for Friday 31st at Lugogo cricket Oval in Kampala expressed his utmost love for Uganda and went ahead to visit the source of the Nile in the eastern town of Jinja; The adventure capital of East Africaand other parts of the country for a video shoot of his new single titled Uganda. The audio was produced by Swangz Avenue’s Benon and Short Gun’s Nessim at Bukoto based Masters Music Studio and the song repeatedly talks about Uganda as pearl of Africa and mentions some of Uganda’s major towns. Its video directed by Swangz Avenue will be ready in the next two weeks.
“Now I know what it means when they say Uganda is the Pearl of Africa. I was in Jinja at the source of the Nile. This is my third time in Africa. I have been to Kenya, Zimbabwe,” the singer said to revelers and went ahead to perform the song with a local traditional dance troupe.
With the “Uganda” song by Tarrus Riley, Uganda is in the verge of getting international promotion for its beautiful natural resources therefore adding value to the tourism industry. Music is one of the tourism packages that the Jamaican reggae superstar just delivered in his influential voice to the world so without doubt Uganda is being promoted.
