Detailed 5 days wildlife itinerary in Uganda
Day1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Set with in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountain, flanking lakes Edward ad George, the Lush savannah of Queen Elizabeth National park offers interesting and prime grazing of the buffaloes, elephants, and numerous antelopes. The park is located in the western region of Uganda sharing part of Kasese district as well as Kabalore. A drive from Kampala is about 6hrs via Mityana Mubende road. Peel your eyes for magnificent sightseeing along the way, wide plantations, vast farming ground with domestic animals, rolling hills and swamps, plus a few forests as well.

Day 2: Do Game Drive and Launch cruise
Wake up to a hearty breakfast before setting off for your game drive in the park. It is very advisable to check out as early as 6am in order to catch up with the night hunters like hyenas, retiring to rest and the early risers searching for breakfast. The drive through the Kasenyi tracks, offers a great opportunity to see a range of game including herds of elephants, warrior buffaloes, lions, antelopes, kobs, water bucks, oribis and many more. After the game drive proceed to the lodge for lunch there after embark on boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. This is the best point to see various water birds like the pink backed pelican, crows and a concentration of hippos. Just seat back, relax and get your camera ready.

Day 3: Drive to Bwindi Forest National Park
The park is located southwestern Uganda and a close driving distance from Queen Elizabeth National Park.  After your breakfast get ready with your driver and drive off to Bwindi through the Ishasha sector for the tree climbing lions, it is such a spectacular view. You will enjoy an enroute lunch meal warm and fresh, wherever you wish to stop along the way, your driver knows the best spot for your meals.

Day 4: The Ultimate Gorilla Tracking Experience
Watching the mountain gorillas in their territory is a thrilling experience; today you are going to be part of this thrilling experience. Report at the briefing point by 7:30am, with your lunch box and all your tracking equipment, the rangers and guides will be ready to lead you to your hosts today. Make sure your camera is well charged and well kept; you don’t want to miss capturing this moment. Apart from the gorillas, watch out for the forest hogs, birds, forest elephants and the Batwa trail.

Day 5: Reserved for Departure
