3 Days Queen Elizabeth Park Safari

Queen Elizabeth national park is one of the Uganda’s national park that lies in western side in the albertine rift valley. The park was named as Kazinga national park in 1952 but 2 years after the visit the Queen Elizabeth II it was renamed to Queen Elizabeth national park. The park has 95species of animals with 610 species of birds. It also has a number of crater lakes that some of them are salt mining lakes.

Day 1. Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
Early morning after game drive, we shall travel to Queen Elizabeth national park which the second largest national park in Uganda located western side of the great rift valley. The drive will take us through beautiful country side of the country. You will enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Uganda’s beauty, through fortportal road and we expect to have our lunch in forportal town, until we reach the park in the evening.

Day 2; Early morning Game drive
After our breakfast at the hotel, we shall drive start our day with an early game drive within the park. This will be done on kasenyi area which is a niche, “ home where animals breed from” and I a good site and designed place by the park authorities to carry out game drive from. Here we expect to see animals like the African buffaloes, elephants, water bucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards. We also expect to see a number of bird species because the area has over 610 bird species.
Come back for lunch, after lunch we shall have a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Here we shall see animal that will come to take water on the channel, and it will help us to see animals that we might have missed on our game drive. We shall also be able to see animals like the animals like hippos and lots of crocodiles. We also expect to see birds like the pelicans, king fishers, cormorants, African darta, African fish eagles and many other flocks of birds like the yellow billed stalks, black crakes, herons, African jacana, egrets and many others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
